While I’m not vegan myself, there are vegans in our family—most notably my wonderful daughter-in-law, Sylvie. And let me tell you, if anyone knows how to take a traditional German dish and turn it plant-based without losing the flavor, it’s her! Many of the recipes on this page are her creations or adaptations, and she’s truly perfected the art of veganizing comfort food.

Of course, I always want something on the table that everyone can enjoy, no matter their preferences. From hearty linsensuppe to satisfying mains and even sweet treats, these dishes make it easy to serve up familiar flavors—without the meat, eggs, or dairy. And you know what? Even the non-vegans go back for seconds.

This soup is a warm, comforting bowl of goodness -- hearty, creamy, and full of flavor.

Made with potatoes, veggies, and a smooth cashew base, it’s a perfect dish for chilly days or a wonderful, satisfying meal anytime.

You'll love how easy it is to make, and how delicious it tastes!
